We aim to create beautiful products using traditional crafts.
We are different
None of our products are the same. We are different and believe that or collection is unique and original. Our products are all hand made by qualified craftspeople whose traditional crafts techniques are handed down from generation to generation.
Made to last
With care our products should last for generations to come.
All the bone used in our furniture is camel bone procured from reliable sources, for each shipment we have to get a wild life certificate from the Indian government prior to shipping. The bone is collected form camels that have died of natural causes.
Bone Inlay & Mother of Pearl Furniture
A Team of craftsmen are working to make a single piece of Bone Inlay furniture: the first one carves pieces of camel bone into the shapes needed to affix onto the furniture; the second affixes those pieces onto a wooden frame of the furniture in patterns, and; the third fills in around the bone with the colored resin. From the beginning to the end product, it takes 4 weeks to make a unique and completely hand made item of Bone Inlay Furniture.
'Kantha' chairs are upholstered in vintage Indian Saris, finished with traditional 'Kantha' hand stitching
As these pieces are upholstered in genuine vintage fabrics, small marks, stains, or patched areas are often encountered, and should be considered an inherent part of the piece. As the fabrics can be up to 40 years old, extreme care should be taken when cleaning. We recommend you consult an experienced upholstery professional, as the fabric on each chair is different in composition and age.
Keeping traditional craft skills alive, supporting developing countries.
Our goods are carefully packaged and shipped overseas in containers, the pieces are then delivered to you via our couriers.
